Moore Holistic Photography is run by myself (Philomena) with help from my amazing husband, Cameron. Cameron takes care of the business side of things so I can spend more time taking care of you!
I have been practicing photography off and on for the past 12 years. Every elective I had in college, I used for a photography class. I truly enjoy being able to create art while encouraging others to see themselves as beautiful and interesting human beings.
If I were to describe my ideal day, it would start with a long hike with my family in the beautiful Pacific Northwest. Then I'd come home, take a long shower, and pick out a comfy show on Netflix (The Great British Baking Show). Oh and dinner? It's already done because I put something in the slow cooker.

I'm so excited to be on this journey and document not just the special events in your life but the emotions, feelings, and memories that make you who you are.
And you know the most amazing part? When you book with me, you're not just getting your picture taken. You are supporting my family, helping me create a magical childhood.
For the past 5-6 years, I have been teaching special education in elementary and middle school. The disabled community has my heart and is another huge passion of mine. I really loved my job, but my recent position was eliminated which meant I needed to transfer to a different school. I was crushed, I really loved where I was. I picked myself up and started making arrangements to go to another school. Then I realized, this disappointment could be an opportunity.
I had just given birth to my little boy, he was only 6 months old at the time. I really wanted to find a way to spend more time with my family and lets be real, daycare options are expensive! A little voice in the back of my head said, "Hey...you know how you wanted to do something with photography? Why not give it a shot?"

I believe that photos are the best time machine. When I take your picture, I want you to be transported back to that moment when you see it again. The sights, sounds, scents, of where you are in life. Every season is precious and worth remembering.
